DR.J Autoklav Autoclaved Aerated Concrete panels and blocks are precast construction materials manufactured by combining pulverized fly ash, cement, gypsum, lime, water, and aluminum powder poured into steel-reinforced molds. Once added to the concrete, aluminum powder reacts with lime and fly ash resulting in the formation of millions of microscopic hydrogen bubbles. The hydrogen bubbles cause the concrete mixture to expand to roughly double the size of its original volume. The steel-reinforced aerated concrete panel are then steam and pressure cured in an autoclave for 8 to 12 hours.

During the curing process, the panels are heated to high pressure within the autoclave. This causes the aluminum powder to react with the other materials and create gas bubbles. These gas bubbles form millions of tiny air pockets inside the blocks, giving them a cellular structure and making them lightweight.

After curing, the panels are ready or cut using a wire-cutting machine into the required sizes and stacked for delivery. DR.J Autoklav AAC panels are produced to the exact sizes needed before leaving the factory. There is less need for on-site trimming. Since the blocks and panels fit so well together, there is less use of finishing materials such as mortar.

DR.J Autoklav AAC panels and blocks are advantageous over traditional concrete hollow blocks.
- They are load-bearing, strong yet lightweight suited for high-rise construction
- They are fire-resistant and have great heat insulating qualities.
- They provide significant time, cost, and energy savings during construction.
- AAC manufacturing is largely mechanized, guaranteeing uniform quality and dimensions.

Dr.J Autoklav AAC panels are also eco-friendly and more sustainable. They are made of non-toxic ingredients utilizing a non-polluting process at a new 6,000 sqm facility in Cebu. The only by-product is steam and 100% of excess materials can be recycled into new panels.

DR.J AutoKlav AAC panels are available in sizes up to 4200mm in length, 600mm width and 100-200mm thick. Also available in blocks (600 x 300 x 100-150mm).
